1. General Principles

Virtual French Bee is a virtual airline operating within a flight simulation environment. All members are expected to behave respectfully, professionally, and in alignment with the values of the community.

By joining Virtual French Bee, you agree to comply with these rules and any future updates.

2. Membership Requirements

  • Members must have a valid account on VAMSYS.
  • A basic understanding of flight simulation is required.
  • Pilots must use a compatible flight simulator (e.g., MSFS, X-Plane, Prepar3D).
  • A stable internet connection is mandatory for online operations.
  • Members must maintain accurate and truthful information in their profiles.

3. Pilot Conduct

All pilots must:

  • Show respect to other members, staff, and the wider flight simulation community.
  • Use appropriate language in all communications (Discord, forums, VAMSYS, etc.).
  • Follow instructions from staff members and moderators.
  • Avoid any behavior that could harm the reputation of Virtual French Bee.

Strictly prohibited:

  • Toxic behavior, harassment, or discrimination.
  • Cheating or falsifying flight reports (PIREPs).
  • Using unauthorized tools to manipulate flight data.

4. Flight Operations

  • All flights must be completed using the VAMSYS tracking system or approved ACARS.
  • Pilots must respect real-world procedures as much as possible.
  • Flights should be conducted using the correct aircraft assigned by the airline.
  • Use of real-world routes and schedules is encouraged.

Minimum requirements:

  • Complete flights realistically (no excessive time acceleration unless authorized).
  • Respect departure and arrival airports.
  • Proper flight planning is required.

5. Online Network Usage

When flying on networks such as VATSIM or IVAO:

  • Follow ATC instructions at all times.
  • Use proper phraseology and communication standards.
  • Be respectful towards controllers and other pilots.
  • Do not connect to online networks without sufficient knowledge.

6. Activity Policy

  • Pilots are expected to remain active.
  • Inactivity for more than 30 days without notice may result in removal.
  • A leave of absence can be requested from staff.

7. Ranking & Progression

  • Pilot ranks are based on activity, hours flown, and participation.
  • Promotions are handled automatically or by staff discretion.
  • Abuse of the ranking system will result in penalties.

8. Events & Community

  • Participation in events is encouraged but not mandatory.
  • Community engagement (Discord, group flights, etc.) is highly appreciated.
  • Members should contribute positively to the atmosphere of the airline.

9. Staff Authority

  • Staff decisions must be respected.
  • Staff reserve the right to:
    • Issue warnings
    • Suspend accounts
    • Remove members
  • Decisions are made to ensure fairness and community integrity.

10. Data & Privacy

  • Personal data collected is only used for Virtual French Bee operations.
  • No data will be shared with third parties without consent.

11. Rule Violations

Failure to comply with these rules may result in:

  • Warning
  • Temporary suspension
  • Permanent removal from the airline

Severity of the sanction depends on the violation.

12. Amendments

Virtual French Bee reserves the right to modify these rules at any time. Members will be informed of major changes.
